Travel information
Directions to Freiburg
General information on how to get to Freiburg can be found on the university's how to find us page. In a nutshell, there are high-speed train connections to Freiburg from Frankfurt airport (2 hours) and Zurich airport (2.5 hours), as well as a coach connection to Basle airport (1 hour). If coming from Zurich, make sure you take a train to Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) and not Fribourg/Freiburg (Switzerland).
The conference locations are close to each other, and Freiburg is small enough, so that walking is probably the easiest solution to get from A to B.
